1. Warranty Coverage (Years 1–5)
This Limited Warranty applies exclusively to mattresses manufactured and supplied by Caravan Beds Limited and covers defects in materials or workmanship under normal, intended residential use.
The following are covered under this warranty:
• Faults in manufacturing including defective seams, zippers, and fabric.
• Structural failure of foam or spring components not caused by user misuse.
• Abnormal and premature loss of shape or sagging (greater than 30mm) not caused by external factors such as inadequate support or improper use.
If a qualifying defect is confirmed within the warranty period, Caravan Beds Limited will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the mattress at no cost to the original purchaser during the first year of ownership.

2. Pro Rata Guarantee (Years 2–5)
In addition to the standard warranty coverage, a Pro Rata Guarantee applies from the second to the fifth year following the original date of delivery.
Under this guarantee, should a valid claim be made, the customer will contribute a percentage of the then-current replacement cost of the mattress based on the length of time the product has been in use (the date of use starts from the delivery date), as follows:

Year 5 80% 20%
Example: If a defect arises in Year 3, and the replacement mattress costs £500, the customer will be responsible for £200 (40%), and Caravan Beds Limited] will cover the remaining £300 (60%).

3. Exclusions and Limitations
This warranty does not cover the following:
• Normal wear and tear, including minor body impressions under 30mm.
• Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper storage.
• Soiling, staining, infestation (e.g. bedbugs), Mould, or any other unsanitary condition.
• Changes in comfort preference or selection of incorrect size.
• Use of the mattress on an inappropriate or poorly ventilated surface.
• Mattresses used in a commercial or non-residential setting (unless otherwise agreed in writing).
• Size & Shape, this will be confirmed either in a drawing plan, sales order or via a template this will be used to produce the mattress. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to check the size and shape of the size and shape method.

4. Conditions of Warranty
To be eligible for warranty coverage:
• The original purchaser must retain proof of purchase.
• The mattress must be used and cared for in accordance with our mattress care guidelines, which can be found on our web site. www.caravanbeds.co.uk/care-guidelines
• The mattress must not be altered or repaired by any third party without prior written consent from Caravan Beds Limited
• The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
• All costs in returning the product will be borne by the purchaser.

5. Making a Warranty Claim

• A copy of your original proof of purchase.
• A detailed description of the issue.
• Supporting photographs or evidence, as requested.
Upon receipt of your claim, Caravan Beds Limited reserves the right to inspect the product in person or via submitted documentation. If a fault is verified, we will arrange a suitable remedy in accordance with the terms of this warranty.

6. Final Provisions
This warranty is provided in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws.
Caravan Beds Limited reserves the right to update or modify the terms of this warranty policy at any time, provided such changes do not affect existing warranties already in force at the time of revision.
